To paint is my way of analysing and understanding the world. My themes are always derived from everyday experiences and impressions. In my paintings I explore topics like movement, energy, contrast and the mystery of emotions. I am interested in how they interconnect into body language as the true expression of the individual.

To paint is my way of analysing and understanding the world. My themes are always derived from everyday experiences and impressions. In my paintings I explore topics like movement, energy, contrast and the mystery of emotions. I am interested in how they interconnect into body language as the true expression of the individual.
In 2012 I created one of the eggs for the first Fabergé Big Egg Hunt, which took place in London.
On my egg I painted a map of the world as an interlocking jigsaw and called it ‘Colourful World’. I wanted to contrast bright primary colours and a childlike view of the world with the reality of geopolitics.
