To paint is my way of analysing and understanding the world. My themes are always derived from everyday experiences and impressions. In my paintings I explore topics like movement, energy, contrast and the mystery of emotions. I am interested in how they interconnect into body language as the true expression of the individual.

Artrooms 2016

Date : January 21, 2016

22 – 25 January 2016, Meliá White House Hotel in London

Staying in a hotel is an adventure, a bit of luxury, an escape… I feel it is the perfect setting for my Cityscape series. I’d like to show a selection of bright, vibrant paintings in oil or acrylic, which will delight, inspire and bring back a memory of the summer sun in the middle of winter.

I painted Mountain View while staying in a hotel in California, so I only thought it appropriate to feature it on this page. It will be exhibited during the fair.

The MTArt Conference will take place during Artrooms and I’ve been invited to participate on Saturday 23 January.

For the second year running, Artrooms will take over 70 bedrooms at Meliá White House, a top four-star deluxe hotel next to Regent’s Park, for four days during London Arts Fair. The exhibition will showcase artists work chosen by a cast of industry professionals, including artist Cedric Christie, curator, Diego Giolitti, and Sunday Telegraph’s chief art critic, Alastair Smart
