To paint is my way of analysing and understanding the world. My themes are always derived from everyday experiences and impressions. In my paintings I explore topics like movement, energy, contrast and the mystery of emotions. I am interested in how they interconnect into body language as the true expression of the individual.

To honour 100 years of the global celebration of International Women’s Day, South London Women Artists (SLWA), are holding their 5th exhibition at Dulwich Library. This year the theme of the exhibition is Women and Books, drawing on the invaluable contributions that women have made to books and libraries over the years and the inspiration they receive from them.

Over the past two years SLWA have staged numerous shows including a hugely successful exhibition at Bankside Gallery in 2010.
