To paint is my way of analysing and understanding the world. My themes are always derived from everyday experiences and impressions. In my paintings I explore topics like movement, energy, contrast and the mystery of emotions. I am interested in how they interconnect into body language as the true expression of the individual.

INTERVIEW WITH VARNA RADIO

Date : July 17, 2008

Press Conference and Interview with Varna Radio, 2008

The Ballet Exhibition in Varna was my first big show and it only came a few months after I moved to London. Being a part of a world class event such as the International Ballet Competition, it included a press – conference prior to the opening (another first) and national TV coverage of the Private View.

I was born in Sofia, but my grand father came from Varna and when I was a kid we used to spend the summers there. I do feel a strong emotional connection with this city and the Bulgarian seaside, so having my first exhibition there, together with my father who I only get to see a few times a year, was a very special treat.
